Children's Ministry
"To inspire and encourage all kids to grow in their relationship with Jesus, and to share with others Jesus’ love."

Children's Ministry is divided up into 4 different age groups from 0-5th grade.
Infants: For children birth to 18 months
Toddlers: For children 18 months to 2 years old.
PromiseTowne: For children ages 3-5years old
PromiseLand: For children Kindergarten to 5th grades.
*Children start in church, then are dismissed to meet downstairs.
Kids in Promiseland are split up by ages to more effectively teach in a way the kids can understand.
Each level of children's ministry uses age-appropriate curriculum is used to develop a personal relationship with each child. We also use games, Bible stories, and crafts as a teaching tool.

Values of Children's Ministry
Kid-targeted– Everything we do needs to be done with our target audience in mind—kids!
Safety—We want MCRC’s Children’s Ministry to be a safe place (physically, and spiritually) for kids and volunteers.
Teach the Bible Creatively—We will strive to teach the Bible creatively as we communicate its life-changing message.
Real-life Application— We want to provide ways for kids to apply what they learn to real life. “Walk the talk.”
Community—We value providing opportunities for kids to experience meaningful, accountable, honest, and personal relationships with a mature, Christian mentor in the context of their peers.
Fun! - We want MCRC’s Children’s Ministry to be a fun place for all children.
