Christmas Shapes: God gave us Jesus!
The shapes we’re talking about this month are so much more than just hearts, squares, circles, and stars. They are fun ways to help preschoolers remember the true story of Christmas. Hearts remind us that “God loved the world so much that He gave his only Son” (John 3:16, GNT). Squares look like a gift, and Jesus is absolutely the best gift ever. Circles remind us of fluffy sheep, and God sent angels to announce His great gift to shepherds who were watching their sheep. Then God put a special star in the sky to lead wise men to come worship young Jesus.
KEY QUESTION: How do we know God loves us?
BOTTOM LINE: God gave us Jesus.
MEMORY VERSE: “God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son.” (John 3:16 GNT)
